Jensen Delius

About the Artist

Jensen Delius is an artist, maker, and educator. They were born in Manitou Springs, Colorado in 2000, and later moved to Chicago, Illinois where they received their Bachelor of Art with a Minor in Art History in 2022. Jensen Currently resides in Denver, Colorado working as an artist and Montessori teacher.

Artist Statement

Jensen Delius is an artist and maker searching out the sacred in the familiar. She collaborates with her own lived experiences & locations, generational identities & stories, and familial archives to make works which ask what is and what is not sacred. Engaging with printmaking, papermaking, book arts, mixed media practices, and fiber works that utilize site-specific materials, she creates work that is of, by, and for these spaces and bodies. 

Jensen has had a long-standing relationship with printmaking and finds deep joy in process-based practices that allow her to create new and sacred meanings through the physical labors and processes that printmaking requires.
