Artist Statement
In “la gráfica”, the personal and the political are themes I constantly address with the intention of reflecting on issues of identity, nation, and the Puerto Rican colonial condition. It is in the reproduction and repetition of images that a message, a truth, is affirmed. With my prints, I affirm who I am, what I believe, and the truth that inhabits me.
